So, my brother who is a Colts fan and I, got into a pretty heated argument about whether or not what Harbl (and/or Ray) did was classless or not. My brother, feels that it was over the top and out of line. I feel like it was a final tribute to a legend of the game in his final appearance in his home stadium.
It was completely fine. He is a hero in Baltimore. He is a hero to most of these guys, and is an all time great. Future first ballot HOF, ect. He can do whatever he wants short of pooping on the field and I'm cool with it.

it wasn't classy but after what ray did in his career he can do whatever the **** he wants. he could put on a ****ing civil war reenactment at center field and i would be OK with it.
plus it was at home. give the fans one last dance, who cares. if it was at indy it would be scummy but i don't see any real issues with it
It was on their own field how would that be classless? It's not like he was doing the dance towards the Colts bench or something. It's the final moment on the home field of a first ballot hall of famers career in the postseason. Some people need to not be such little *****es and get offended by every little thing.

although wasn't classless i do not think it was classy either. it was what it was, a last dance at home and 1 last show for the fans. there were definitely classier things he could have done but if anyone is getting worked up over this they are being an oversensitive *****
Completely fine with it. My dad said he did it at the beginning of every quarter, which is a little much, but as stated it's his last home game and he's earned it, plus it's a tribute to the fans.

Not classy. I almost brought it up in the NFL thread at the time, but didn't since I think he's earned the right to do it anyway. It just calls the wrong type of attention to himself. He's not known because of some silly dance he does. He's known because he's one of the best linebackers of all time. Also, his team just won a playoff game and is advancing, so just thought it was kind of out of place. I loved him going out for the kneel down, and think it would have been extremely cool if they did something like let him take the knee. But the dance was the wrong way to go about it.

I thought it was one of those "go give these fans what they wanna see 1 more time" type of move. I liked it to be honest,I really didnt have an issue with it at ll.

Agreed. Like when Shawn Michaels retired but did the DX chop.

Classy? No. Classless? Not at all. It was just a guy celebrating being on his home field one last time. He didn't start humping the ground or jumping around or get in anybody's face. He danced for like ten seconds then his team gathered around him.

I'm watching WWE right now. First time watching this in forever. I feel like an 8 year old, but I don't care. This is pretty funny/entertaining. The Rock just dropped the people's elbow lmao.
To be back on topic, I don't think it was classy but I didn't have a problem with it either. I mean, had it been some scrub, then yeah I might have a problem. But it's Ray Lewis....playing his final home game. Anyone who gets their jimmies rustled over that is a moron.

Stopped watching wrestling when Kane took his mask off and started talking. That was around the same time the WWF turned into the WWE, which wouldve made me stop watching anyway.

We had a whole room full of late 20's early 30 year old guys reliving their childhood screaming at the top of our lungs during whatever thing that was where Cena and the Rock fought. I felt 10 and didnt give a flying ****.

My brother gets his jimmies rustled quite easily, but he takes the "**** everyone whos not a Colt" approach, so he was all pissy. He's even to the point where he's like "Whatever...**** Peyton IDGAF he's not on my team anymore"....and I'm like dude really? He put Indy on the map and you're indifferent about him going elsewhere? And he's just so ****ing ignorant about **** it pisses me off. I basically made this thread so I can show him later and say "see? You're a ******."
