Happy New year people. This should prove to be a exciteing year for Ufford Hills. The plans for the Paintball field in 2013 include 1 new field with a fort type building and a target area with action targets for the younger kids who want to come out but dont like to get hit with paint. Also with the addition of the mini golf and a Dirt go cart track. The campground (overnight parking) will have the shower house finished by summer, we hope. Electrical hook ups and water lines are in and so is the dumpstation. We will also be working with "Vermillion area equine center" http://vermillionhorses.com/ on a limited basis for horse riding time for people. So if i am to get this all done before planting season i best get back to work. I hope to see everybody stop by this year.

Ufford Hills Paintball will be opening back up for regular hours April 1! Currently Ufford Hills is open for reservations and can handle groups of 30. There are many great plans for this summer and I hope players can make their way to the field this year. Please keep chatting on the South Dakota thread and notify the local paintball community about the field and store!

We are still planning the improvements for Ufford Hills. Thirty posts have been delivered to the site and as soon as the ground thaws, they will go straight into the ground to make ready for our new fields. The log fields will now be completely enclosed with netting, in order to protect the people on the go-kart track from getting hit. Also material was dropped off for the culvert/alamo field we will be building this year. I am going have a lot of work to do when I get back from overseas...

Vermillion intramural paintball is officially happening this summer at Ufford Hills! Currently five sponsors in the area have agreed to support an intramural team and we will be looking for three more! Thursday nights (June, July, August) from 6pm-10pm will be intramural tournaments. This Saturday we are going to have the University of South Dakota paintball club come and play around noon. Other players from the local area will also be there. Hope to see some new faces!

This Friday night Ufford Hills will be hosting another night game during the full moon. We expect to begin playing night games at 8:45pm, but I will be out there earlier for players who want to get some sunny games in. We may have part of the new spindle and log field opened up for play, as long as it does not rain tomorrow!
