No.. Im saying if someone were trying to copy it, they went to great lengths to mill the FBM logo in the side.. in the proper font..

gotcha. yeah I was worried I made too impulsive of a buy. after searching everywhere I believe its a precursor to the rayznor body. looks pretty rough to. once i get all the parts and pieces i want for it I think I'll be off to get some anodizing. anyone know what that runs and who to go to?

I was the one that pointed out it may not be a FBM, my reasoning:
FBM's all had the pass through slots between upper and lower tubes.
I've never seen that FBM engraving, all the FBM's I've seen have the oval FBM logo engraved.
Not saying it's not a true FBM, just wasn't sure and hesitant on it.

I call them slots, but others call it windows. Here is FBM's line up...... notice the windows cut from side to side between the upper and lower tubes. Also, the logo I speak of can be seen clear on the Rayzor body (oval logo).

I'm actually starting to wonder if this this is an older uncommon style. I've only been able to find a couple pictures online of similar ones. this illustration above that addicted posted shows the bodies that regularly pop up when i search. does any one know the specifics of this body?

Companies did a lot of weird stuff...... there are a lot of guns that can't be explained, like my 95-96 WGP...... yes, it's a WGP but it's a P-block, P-blocks were an STO thing, but it's a RF, STO's were VF, and 95-96 were square bodied, this is round. This is a factory build as the guy I bought it from bought it brand new.
Or like the purple one I showed you, was a custom build and only two made, but was a factory build.

On a side note..... there is probably a date break on your FBM compared to say mine...... The logo is probably what will define these era's. Oval versus just the FBM engraving.
