augusta or north augusta players?
It's been about 7 years since I've played and I'm wanting to get back in the game. I looked up fields and it appears Rush paintball closed down  . Anyone in the area still play? If so let me know where  . Id definitely love to meet some new people

We are still around, one of the guys that I play with is about to open a field near Augusta mall. So paintball will be coming back to the CSRA

the only people i know that have a field around her, is eric c. he bought out rush and moved all the bunkers etc. to his house. ryan, the owner of atomic, had a really nice field in n.augusta where i use to play at while i was a part of atl breakout however i think they shut down because they werent making a legit profit. there arent many people in augusta that play so its hard to sustain that kind of business. hopefully this new place yall speak of will do well, but if a place like atomic, where in all my years is hands down the nicest field in GA besides the newly formed BIP, i doubt they will be around for very long.

I helped start rush back in the day. I played through pirate paintball, ultimate outdoors, colors paintball and rush paintball. Im hoping this new field will be nice. I was leaving the mall the other day and saw that they were leveling out the land where rush used to be and ive heard thats where the new field is going. Once i went off to college I played for two more years then stopped, now im back in Augusta and paintball died. Im hoping something will change cause I am also trying to get back into the sport.

It will not be at the old "rush" but it is right around the corner. It will have 2 speed ball fields and woods ball from what I hear. The guy building it is really trying to do it right. It's being delayed thanks to the county its in. I'm sure he will hit nation up when he gets it up and running. when I talk to him again i will try and find out how much longer he thinks.

Any more updates on this field coming back to augusta? I am getting back into paintball now and would like to not have to travel too far each weekend

I hear he finally got the county all squared away and the grass has been planted. so a good month or two and augusta should be back on the map I hope.

Beatin the dead horse about the build of the new park, but I'm just hopin the builder/owner gets a read of this and sees that people in AUG are really in need of place. I played back in the day with ImpyGimpy (Rex) and stopped once I graduated hs and joined the "real world" of working everyday and paying the bills. Getting back into it now and extremely eager to play. As Rex stated, I'm not looking forward to traveling an hr.+ one way in order to play.
(ps, if he needs any more grass/sod, let me know. I'm sure we could work something out  ) |
