So, im going to upgrade the bolt/barrel/ASA/Board? if any at the moment (ie. APE)...
What would the Tippmann nation suggest i would add to it? ideas or suggestions are always highly recommended!

If you upgrade anything, just do the barrel.

^ he knows what he is saying. Don't spend your money on useless "upgrades". if anything, get a better barrel such as a freak or something. Most "upgrades" dont really do much.

Upgrades Help!
I have upgraded my Crossover, I feel that where it is now it performs great.
I have the TechT bolt, Planet Eclipse POPS ASA and SL3 Regulator. The TechT bolt increases the FPS 20-30 points making it more air efficient and because its significantly lighter than the original, you feel light to no "kick" when shooting. I added the SL3 Regulator to make the FPS more consistent and it definitively does the job. The POPS ASA is just a really nice ASA, I feel that it is soooo much nicer than anything else out there.
And yes Virtue should be coming out with a Board upgrade, I'm looking forward to getting that as soon as it comes out.

I did get the tech t bolt too and I really like the difference lowered the pressure of the marker a little less kick to it, better efficency, and a better sound signature. the stock barrel I hated so I got an ultralight barrel for it I want to try a DW null barrel or a stiffi. Do any of you know if the freak barrel has the counter bore problems the DW fibur barrels have with the crossover?

You bought a Dye Ultralight??? I was really interested in getting one of those but I caught a deal on the DW Fibur on eBay for $40 and I already had the SS Freak Sizer Kit. How well does the UL shoot? I tried asking ANSGEAR.com about the Freak barrel kits but they haven't responded. For now my Fibur works well, I just have to always use it with the eyes on, which I don't mind.

Yep a dye UL it is nice I have shot dye barrels for a long time. Why do you have to have your eyes on? Does it work ok in mech mode?

Nice, I might try one out if I get a good deal on it. Because I use the Deadlywind Fibur Barrel I have to use it in electro mode because it'll ensure that I don't dry-fire. If you dry-fire, the bolt slides into the barrel bit and hits/gets stuck in the Freak insert. So using it with the eyes on is the route I have to use.

So im stuck b/w two barrels? the apex2 and/or UL!
but with the UL the smallest bore i can get is a .688; no need for a freak system...
But im also wondering if i should go for accuracy with a touch of distance...

You could have gotten a used ego with all the money you spent on that...

Wow a used ego! I would take that used ego and sell it to buy anything other than an ego. He has the best parts of an ego right now the reg and pops and he doesn't have to be like all the other tools out there and can shoot something that acctually shoots good.
On to a relative post. My ul back is a .684 someone also makes an apex adapter tip for a ul.

I guess I could have bought an Ego but I wanted something different. Also I'm a big dude and all those guns are really small and too compact for for me. I've used Eteks and G6Rs before and they are tiny in my hands. I like the feel of the Crossover, it works for me. Oh and another thing, I like buying NEW so yea.
Back to the UL barrel question, I found a .684 barrel back on eBay.

I just curious what haven't you changed? The frame?
I am an Xball guy mostly, so i have considered many markers to fill the bill. Leading me to consider all markers in that area, so why not Tippmann? Upgrades are fine, but the amount that you put on this marker could make some wonder about the initial quality of the Crossover which I don't believe is the case.
I left my comment above, but after seeing your upgrades on the picture thread I better understand. DAJUICE your marker is beautiful. I can see it is a labor of love.

Yea I guess I have over customized it a bit but I did it because I wanted it to be different and I was going for a certain look, its all personal preference........I really wanted a proper ASA. The Crossover out the box is a solid marker, it does take a little getting use to, but I'm really liking it. Keep an open mind and at least try it out once, I think some fields are renting them out now.

Wow told me...
To the op, that's cool. It's about what feels better for you/what you like. Your crossover does look pretty slick!

I have a crossover with a Techt bolt as well. It does reduce the kick to nothing when dry firing and very little kick when shooting paint. A big step from the stock bolt. Also, you don't need to buy a fancy barrel that cost $90. I have a .685 CP one piece and it shoots great, underbore your paint.
It does take some getting used to (the actual grip frame feels like a two by four at first), but it is a fun scenario/big game gun due to the mech/electro modes.

That's a good bore size, I usually stick to a .684 freak insert. Shoots nice and straight.

hey guys! I have a crossover #111
I must say that the upgrade for the bolt is a must. Techt has done a great job with this bolt! i have tried many barrels and the 2 that i have remained with are The 14" deadlywind null and the complex barrel. I have taken out the trigger spring, also a must if you dont like that stiff feel when walking the trigger.
