Funniest Thing You Saw a Noob/First-Timer Do
I'll start off. As a referee for the past 4 years, I've seen a lot of funny things by our fellow renters/first-timers. One time, a guy came in with a spyder extra that wasn't working. I took it apart to fix for him, and couldn't believe what I saw. This guy used vaseline as a lube on all his O-rings. It was so hard not to laugh lol.

Well theres the usual kids who say theyll stay back to snipe, call fields maps, and constantly scream 'were surrounded!'
For a while, my field offered an upgraded rental, which was an ion, and first timers+e guns=laughs. Nothin quite like seeing someone repeatedly shoot themselves in the foot...

Lol yea the field where I work at we offer an upgraded rental as well, which is a GoG Envy, and mainly the kids rent it because it's a "machine gun" lol

Wow lol. Unfortunately, I haven't seen too many pump players at my field, so I've never seen a first timer ask them if it was a shotgun, but that wouldn't surprise me haha

Happens to me every time go to the field.
Also, worst thing I ever did as a noob (also worst thing Ive ever seen) was when I had my first gun. It was an old Spyder i had bought for cheap. Unfortunately, it was missing part of the field strip pin. Specifically, the part that held it in. I screwed in my CO2 tank (shut up), take two practice shots, and the pin fell out. My gun exploded. Pieces went everywhere!!!! Took me ten minutes to find everything and put it back together again. Luckily, one of the guys in the proshop found a hairpin, and we used that to hold the pin in. Super embarrassing, though.

The kids that come to my field with full on ghillie suits and then don't use them after the first game is over. I personally think it's one of the funniest things.
-Or the people that are serious about *sniping* and whine about not being able to get into the trees to shoot at people.

Yea, if one part comes loose on a spyder, that thing can turn into a spring loaded pen and parts everywhere lol

I love the new players who have no fear. I once saw a kid about 12 who walked about 100 yrds. across an open part of the field walked to the bunker in the way back where one of the tournament players were just spraying paint and not moving, and the kid went past his bunker looked left then looked right, saw him and jumped at him and rambo'd him.

Those are the best. The even better ones are who will listen to you when you know you can get them into a good spot!

Kids who don't snap the lids on their hoppers and lose all their paint is always amusing. I feel bad but can't help but laugh.
I love the kids who are fearless. I have seen 10 year olds rush people while 14 year olds wear padding like they are training attack dogs and hide in the back all day.
