I have dm7 Bwing with the garden hose tophat mod, would this Eigenring work along side of it or would the tophat mod have to be removed before I could use this? Sorry if its common sense I just would like to know before I go buy one if there would be a bigger benefit of having both or just the LurkerPB Eigenring itself.

Top hat mod would need to be removed. The ring rides on the top hat.

Do you think I'd see a significant difference from the tophat mod to the eigenring?

So you're saying it's worth it?

Very much so. I wouldn't buy a DM12 or 13 simply because this mod is not availible. I would also recommend the BW bolt or a polished bolt to get the most out of the mod.

Just got my Eigenring installed in my IM9 with a BW and I am coming in at 2 1/2 turns (from 4 1/2) and 16 on the dwell (from 21). Shoots nice and smooth but I may bump the LPR to 3 and see if I can get a sub 14 dwell. Also took the oring out of the ring and packed hater in the internal and external grooves in the ring itself. Sound like I got it right I can't get good numbers until I play next but I will update once I do. Thank you Lurker!!!
Edit: I am a dumba$$ and didn't change my battery and it was almost dead (to the point the eyes stopped working) so I will be resetting everything tomorrow

For those of you using this device on DM6/DM7's, are you using it with the outter o-ring? I'm having weird spikes and shoot-down. Wondering if it's recommended to remove the o-ring on these models. I would assume the ring is getting "stuck" every so often.

Yes, you keep the o-ring on the outside, no oring on the inside. Make sure there are not spurs or weird spots on the ring that might be catching as it moves along the top hat.

I assume the ring is getting stuck at an angle. Maybe I'll sand down the surface of the top hat a bit to make it more smooth.

Have you tried taking off the Eigenring and seeing if you have the same problem?

Yesterday mine seemed to be doing the same thing and I deduced that it was because there wasn't enough lube packed into the groove and coated on the top hat to reduce friction. It caused so much friction that it wore the red polishing off of the billy wing top hat! I took the ring out and decided to just run with the billy wing alone. I'm not sure what to do other than pack that sucker with a GOB of grease!? Lol
