So, there is no way I don't see Adrian Peterson not coming away with both awards.

Agree, or disagree?

Im not sure if I am remembering correctly, but hasnt the MVP award been split and given to two players in the same season before? I feel like its happened before...and if it has, then there is the soloution...MVP is peterson and manning

EDIT: yep, its happened. Manning and Steve McNair have shared MVP in a season before in 2004

Honestly, I think Adrian should win both. He came from the ACL tear sooner than expected and was 9 yards from the record. He also pretty much put the team on his back and led them to the playoffs.

So did Manning but the Broncos were already a playoff team last year.

How could you possibly think that Manning would share the MVP in 2004 when he had the greatest season any QB has ever had? Thats jusf dumb.

Agreed. Here is the way I look at it -

There is a debate as to who the best QB in the league was this year - but there is no debate as to who the best RB was in 2012.

The point is pick one, don't point out the obvious. Get over it.

When Jesus comes back, I will ask for his forgiveness.

As they say, it's always easier to ask for forgiveness...

i did a quick search on co-mvp seasons. at first glance all I saw was McNair/Manning dated 2004, that sufficed enough. I dont give a **** about the year he won it in, I was just trying to figure out if there has been co-mvp season before. Greatest season a qb could have...lol

Tom Brady's 07-08 season was better.

Peyton Manning 2004 - 336 completions, 497 attempts for 67.6 completion percentage; 4,557 yards with 49 TDs/10 INTs with 38 rushing yards

Tom Brady 2007 - 398 completions, 578 attempts for 68.9 completion percentage; 4,806 yards with 50 TDs/8 INTs with 98 rushing yards and 2 TDs

Brady tossed the ball about 80 times more and had 3 more total TDs, 2 less INTs, and about 300 more yards.

Manning also had better weapons around him. Marvin, James, Stokley, Wayne, Clark, and Wayne compared to Moss, Welker, Stallworth, Watson, and Maroney.
