Eigenbolt problem :(

Hey guys, I got two of the latest and greatest eigenbolts and neither seems to want to cycle. Shocker runs fine with the HE bolt, swap out to either eigen and it's almost like I'm getting pneumatic lockout - the bolt will not budge but the noid is definitely puffing away with trigger pulls. I pulled the entire engine and the eigens seem to slide smoothly (even one has an out of round back, seems the package got shmushed in the mail) so I've swapped back and forth between the HE and both eigens a few time with identical results. I've tried searching around for similar issues with the latest batch to no avail - did I miss a memo about needing to run new oring sizes somewhere in the engine or do I just have crud luck?

*EDIT* Picture of out of round back

1) do any of the orings particularly the bolt guide tip feel like a tight fit?
2) when its all assembled pushed the bolt back and forth. Does it still feel like its moving smooth and free? If not try backing the guide out a 1/16 - 1/4 of a turn and check it again.
3)pics of the out of roundness?

1) No it feels smooth
2) Fully assembled it was a little tighter than the HE bolt I had in there but nothing significant
3) Will get that up tomorrow

Just ship the Eigen to me and uh I'll look at it

I had a shocker that didn't cycle and it was bc of the hybrid bolt guide I was using. Back out the guide like jimbo said or go for a stock guide if not already

I've had a similar issue. but eventually I got it to cycle here and there. I've seen someone else post the issue as well. puff, puff, puff, fire, puff, fire, puff, puff.
seems to really be a oring tolerance thing from what everybody have been saying.

A question: I have a NDZ adjustable bolt guide set to the stock length. what will backing it out 1/16-1/4 turn do?

I've replaced all orings with the ones provided with the bolt but was still having the issue. out of air now so I'll have to try backing the guide out once I have a chance to get more air.

I've been having similar issues with my NDZ adj. guide at stock length as well. Try using a stock guide if you have one. I replaced my NDZ with the stock bolt guide and its been shooting great.

Exact oposite for me Im getting my best results out my stock set NDZ guide. If you guys are having issues with them then they may be set off from stock they realy should be set with a set of calipers and you should meassure to the front oring gland not the rear tip gland. And make sure you measure from the back end where the bolt sleeve presses against not the back oring gland as its not in the same location as the stock guide.

Tzz is it the one on the right thats out of round?

I do have a stock guide somewhere that I might try to dig up if I can't figure out how to get the NDZ to work. However I'm working on this shocker as a project and would like to keep it if at all possible.

jim. what type of calipers are you using? I'm not sure that the ones I have will open that wide. Also what are the measurements you're used? and how thick is the rear bumper you're using?
lastly, my guide orings don't seem to slide all that well. I'm using the red ones provided.
