Anodizing Reviews for Caustic Customs
Caustic Customs
23/0/ 0 (Positive/Neutral/Negative)
This thread is meant to be used for Brief reviews of Caustic Customs. This thread is linked to the List of Anodizers and will be used for people to look at rating and pictures from Caustic Customs.
These rules must be followed
1. You must have had work done by the anodizer in the title of the thread.
2. Give the anodizer a Positive, Neutral or Negative rating
3. Keep it brief, I don't want page long reviews. If you feel the need to express your opinions with the 2 page story feel free to make another thread.
4. Describe what you were having done
5. You must post a picture of the work
If all of these rules are not followed your post will be removed, so please make my job easier and keep everything following the guidelines above. I will track all of the positive, neutral and negative reviews and will update them once every couple of weeks.
Example:
1. I had my 06 nexus ego anodized by XYZ anodizing on February 31st, 2001.
2. Positive experience
3. Did a great job/exactly what I wanted/3 week turn around/Communication was slow but not bad.
4. Had them do a pink, red, green and brown splash on the entire gun
5.Post a picture (this is a made up example so I don't have a picture)

 Super Positive
I've had anodizing done before, but Stephen from Caustic Customs is the only one who is detailed about his work. He answers all my questions timely and his prices are fair. His turn around time is less than 1.5 weeks. I will definitely be using him more in the future.
Here are two of the SICKEST SHOCKERS on the nation thanks to Stephen:

Caustic Customs: AGD XMAG
Caustic Customs Review:
1. I sent my AGD "John Sosta" Euro Xmag to Caustic Customs. It was a bit beat up before CC got to it. It came out looking new from the factory.
2. Stephan treated my project like his own. He takes ownership of what he does, not many anodizers out there seem to do that anymore...
3. He did a wonderful job with the anodizing, I couldn't be happier. Throughout the process I had great communication with CC. I have tried many anodizers in the past such as PrecisionPB, Gruntbull, Lasermygun, and PK Selective, yet Caustic Customs exceeded all of them. The quality of work is top notch. I didn't want to post my review yet, since I wanted Caustic Customs all to myself, but Stephen deserves the praise!
4. Had them match the original tequila sunrise fade, but added depth with the black wash on top.
Positive Review: +1

1. I had my freeflow Millenium cocker annodized
2. Definatly a positive experience
3. I had a black and red bloodspatter done, which came out flawless. What i really like was the fact that unlike the other " annodizers" i spoke to, he took my project even though my eclipse hinge was nickel, he stepped up and got it stripped and flawlessly annodiZed when other wouldnt even try. Turnaround time from the day i left my house was 9 DAYS ! Unbelieveable
4. Like i said i have a freeflow millenium body kit, ul tip, eclipse hinge, and sidewinder reg done in a black and red bloodspatter.
Pics ( Please excuse the hideous ASA )

1. After losing my feedneck for my custom annod macdev GT i was extremely worried that i wouldn't be able to get another one annod to match. I had first called the guy who originally annod my gun. I figured that since he was the one who annod my gun he would be able to get me an exact match no problem.
After about 2 weeks of waiting I got the part but, it wasn't even a close match. Being fustrated as it was I started to search the net for anodizers. After about sending 15 emails to various anodizers from around the country I was turned down by most of them or given an insane quote (someone wanted to charge me $175 to ano a tiny feedneck lever).
Stephen from Caustis customs got back to me within a few hours of sending my initial email. After a few back and forth emails figuring out the details we came to an agreement and I sent my part out.
2. The whole experience was an absolute pleasure. Stephen was extremely professional. He was fantastic at returning emails and the overall experience was awesome.
3. Turn around time was 1 week from when he received my parts. The anno match was spot on. I couldn't believe that he got the match exact! Anno finish was perfect and quality was amazing.
I cannot recommend Stephen and caustic customs enough. Thanks Stephen!

1. I had my 05 freestyle ano'd November 2012
2. VERY Positive experience
3. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and as such i have a specific way of doing things in mind. Caustic was very patient with me and worked with me to get exactly what i wanted. I couldn't ask for a better finished product.
4. Red and black dust acid wash, with polished sections. did an amazing job blending the polish and dust interfaces.

I had my Dangerous Power Threshold anodized by Caustic Customs
A+ Very Positive!!
I must say it was my best experience with anodizing a marker that i have had to date. He was professional and kept me updated with every step. I told him what i wanted and he gave me a fair quote for the amount of parts and the amount of work/detail that was needed.
He started off by confirming with me that all the parts i had shipped were received, and nothing was lost. he even sent a picture of what he received.
He then tested the finish i wanted on a piece of aluminum stock to make sure he could achieve the finish i wanted, i told him to so his thing and it will come out great. (the purple and green would logically have issues mixing, but when done right...)
After polishing the first few parts he sent me a update picture, and then another picture when polishing was complete, he gave me a estimated time for having the marker finished.
He soon followed with pictures of the first parts, and then more pictures of the complete gun. Payment was made and he shipped back.

As usual communication was superb and job was done and returned quickly.
Had Vice frame, body & lpr anodized purple. Wanted a deep rich purple and came out better than I imaged it would. Works great with no leaks.
Very professional job

POSITIVE +1
Stephen match anodized a restoration project for me. He did an excellent job matching an extremely difficult pattern. It's very hard to tell what is original and what is Caustic Customs.
A+ for quality, communication, and turn around time. I would be more than happy to send him another project.

Did my Vanquish last week and it came out great. The attention to detail was great and the little things like masking the screw threads are a nice touch.
