Hey guys how's it going?

The team I play for will be entering our first Race format tournament in a couple weeks and I'm just wondering how much paint I can expect to use. It's a race 3 format with semi uncapped and unlimited paint on field.

Wondering about usage for all positions too.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks

Depends on how much paint your team shoots, and how quickly your matches are. I played race to 4 format at psp mao and we went through about 10 cases per match. Also, is it 3man, 5man, etc?

Gotcha. Yea, it all depends on how much you plan to shoot. Have you tried contacting the paint supplier for some sort of sponsorship for the event? That way you can buy the paint cheaper. Not sure what league you plan on playing in but for PSP we did the Imperial Sponsorship Program with GI and got the paint priced at $35 a case when it's normally $60 and all we had to do was wear their stickers on our masks, hoppers, and pods.

The rule of thumb is to budget a case of paint (total for team) for each point in the race format.
