Well yeah but its pretty much impossible to account for that. So I just do a straight ratio.

Roughly 50% of fat is lost when cooking, I read in a study a while ago.
It went like 30 grams of fat dropped to 18 grams. The lower the fat the less is lost. I think 10 grams of fat only dropped down to like 7. If I want to account for fat loss I just use 50%.

^this, but I'm not sure if 50% is still rule of thumb when cooking it like jerky.

Hmm interesting. I guess it doesn't matter much for the 96, but I might go with 85 more often if the calories don't change as much as I thought. Save a couple of bucks a #.

I would assume no fat is lost using a dehydrator. The fat doesn't evaporate or leak out the bottom.
Now you got me thinking about making some jerky, how long will it last if I use 90/10 beef? Would refrigerating it make it last even longer? I know a leaner beef+salt would make it last longer. It would be awesome if it lasted a few weeks.

I use just straight up GMS from SP and I really like it. I'd imagine they are fairly similar

I've found that 1.5g caffeine gives me enough energy to get through a meet.

About to smash a tub of MP Assault, I like it. BB.com's CRAZE has been rated super high. I think that'll be the next I try.

I picked up some Cellucor C4, but haven't used it yet. I used Jack3d and liked that quite a bit.

You take that all at once, or through out the meet?

I assumed he was joking. 1500mg seems pretty excessive. If srs, you must have built up a tolerance over a long period of time. Still, feel like your body/heart wouldn't exactly enjoy the extreme vasoconstriction.

So I decided to stop taking whey shakes about 2 weeks ago after Berkhan posted this study about its effects on acne:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23257731
Obviously not real in depth or conclusive but I figured Id give it a shot and my skin has actually cleared up quite nicely. With that being said, I think its about time I look into alternative protein powders as downing 2+ lbs of chicken everyday is becoming a bit cumbersome. Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?

Well if you're not getting it through whey, and you don't want to consume a mass amount of lean mean like chix or turkey, I don't see what another option could be. I suppose you'll just have to vary your intake of meats (chix, beef, turkey, pork, seafood) or eat high protein carb sources like quinoa
