Can i use a flash drive or a external hard drive meant for a pc on my xbox 360?

I know you can use a flash drive so long as it gets formatted for the 360

The 360 will read external drives as long as they're formatted as FAT32 (most flash drives should work, external hard drives are less likely to work without needing to be reformatted). Not sure how EXFAT (FAT for drives over a certain size) works with the 360, but that'd be what you'd use with an external hard drive.
