Wait. The vapor had allure?
But for real, this is taking forever to get good, credible info or pics.

They are releasing two markers in march, one is the impulse, retails for around 800, the other is a shocker/luxe type for around 1500. More than credible sources.

Surprised that no one has an issue with the pricing. Spool valve guns cost nearly twice as much to produce as poppets? Didn't the shocker release @ around $699? I understand people, for some reason, spend that on vapors and luxes. But this should highlight how outrageous the difference is. No matter what the debate on poppets vs. spools is, a jump from 800 to 1500 in price is inconceivable to me.

If i recall the sft in 2003 was over $1000, I think $1300 with the maxflo. Shockers didnt retail for $699 new until the nxt and honestly it was a steal for it once they started including the tournament board and qlock as standard.
extra note on that: someone whether its gog or kee release a cheap shocker thats not a luxe again! a remake of the nxt for $600 or less with a better regulator would be so nice.

Yes, I was a huge proponent of the Vapor upon release, it fell short and I ate my words. I even publicly proclaimed that fact and went as far as personally apologizing to Darryl at DLX for calling it a Luxe-killer. At this point with the problems out in the open there should be zero allure associated with said product.
Secondly, I don't need advice from a Swedish hoarder that doesn't even play paintball. I own up to my mistakes, and move on.

It was more of a question. I don't know anything about their price margins for any of the guns. I am simply a consumer. I just don't see enough advantages that could be included in a spool design over a poppet to warrant that huge of a price difference.
Basically, I was trying to start a discussion.

Comparable spools and poppits have always been around the same price, and in a lot of instances, the spool has been cheaper. The luxe is marketed as a premium gun with a huge price tag but everyone knows the bolt technology in it is from a $600 shocker. The thing is shockers were so good you see how many people are willing to pay the price for it done up in the right packaging. At the end of the day its usually always paint handling. Spools are really that much nicer on paint.
