Apex2 for Etha
Hello all! I'm looking into buying an Apex2 tip and a barrel to go with my Etha. I'm looking into buying a 14' barrel but the problem is I'm not sure which barrel to get that works best with the Etha and can use an Apex2. Any information would help on what barrel to get. Would love if there is links to the barrel you recommend and explain why it's so good. Anything would help!

Depends on how much you want to spend. You can get the Empire Super Freak kit at $200. Not a bad choice, and includes everything. I use a Freak back with a 6" All American Apex front.

You can mount an apex on the stock etha barrel. Search google for mods, all it takes is a little electrical tape and 10 minutes.

I was looking at an Empire Apex2 Adjustable Barrel Kit - Autococker threaded 14'. Is this a fine barrel or recommend something else?

That's the stock apex barrel. If you want a14 inch barrel, that's exactly what that is. That's your best bet.

I personally would not buy the 14" Empire Apex 2 barrel. Your stock Etha Shaft 4 is a much better barrel.

If that thing screws into a Shaft 4 back, it'll work with a Fuse.

I wouldn't get the Apex 2. I have one and they don't work as good as I thought they would. Plus, they're pretty heavy and loud. I use a Freak kit most of the time and it shoots great

Is there any big difference between getting the Shaft 4 tip + Apex2 for ~$70 total, versus just getting this ? Also, with that second link, is the actual barrel portion (Not including the tip) long enough to have the Apex 2 tip not be in contact with the EMC kit?

Using a bore system with a apex tip will make your apex more accurate as proper ball to bore sizing and mor consistent

You'd be better off with the shaft 4 tip as you can get the other backs to better size for paint.
You need 6.5" of barrel to clear the EMC kit. The Apex 2 tip is 6". A 14" Apex 2 barrel should be fine.
