Crossover Mechanical

Sup tippmann guys,

How does everyone feel about the mechanical usage of their crossover? My field has mechanical only games for fun and was wondering how well the crossover performs in mechanical mode. Played pump for a while but think I want to try the crossover out.

mechanical is a lot of fun to play with! The last big game I played I decided to play the day on mechanical and it worked flawlessly!

I can't really find any decent videos of it shooting in mechanical mode. Everyone who runs it in mechanical for a video shoots like an idiot. One video the guy was just one balling every 5 seconds and the other video the guy was shooting with two fingers on each trigger pull..... very unhelpful videos lol.

How walkable is it in mechanical mode? Are we talking 10 bps?

Even when I swapped the spring to a lighter one it still seemed hard to walk the trigger. Although I really haven't tried it too much.

I only use my corssover in mechanical mode, i don't consider the trigger walkable its not a speedball gun trigger for sure. It takes a pretty good pull to get a shot off and I like the feel of it. Its like a large more crisp mechanical trigger. Personal preference of course. It will take some getting used to but you can still rip with it, not to compare to an axe or something in mechanical but still plenty fast when you get used to it.

Help me get an education does the marker automatically pick up in mech when the batteries die or does the user have to do something? Flip switch, etc?

There is a switch about where your thumb would be (right handed). You can switch from electric to mechanical on the fly. The switch feels a bit stiff when using but I guess thats to keep it from accidentally changing on it own.

I love my crossover in mechanical. When ever I play 90% of the time I am on mechanical only switching over to electro when i really need firepower.
