Got a friends pm5 im working on and im running into some issues.

Gun leaks from out the back of the bolt and from side hole in hyper2 reg.

Ive replaced both rear bolt end orings and reg piston oring, which is what the manual says should correct these issues. Any ideas?


EDIT: ALL LEAKS FIXED! This monster shoots as good as my pm8 or dm7

As shown above, if replacing the stem o-rings doesn't solve the problem, try changing the outer sleeve o-ring.

For compressed air to get to that vent hole, it has to be leaking passed the piston head o-ring, or the piston neck o-ring - there is no other way for air to get to that part of the reg. As you have already replaced the piston head o-ring, try changing the o-ring that the piston neck passes through (#007 UR90).

Appreciate the response, i switched out the outer sleeve oring. Its still leaking out the back of the bolt :/

Gotta get to a vice (regs stuck) so i can try replacing the 007 ring.

Okay update!

Regs holding air now, the 007 ring was deteriorated to hell

Bolt is still leaking! Ive replaced 3 and 4 on the tail and both outer sleeve rings 8. Any ideas? According to the diagram above nothing else is responsible for leaks from back of bolt


Gun has the STD LP LPR, with HPR set to 3turns out it BLOWS air out the back bad. Could this be caused by anything besides a bolt oring? Im about to just replace all of them lol

Is it leaking out of the back cap hole or around the sides of the back cap?

The bolt tail o-rings can be a bit sensitive to pressure settings. Try turning the Hyper 2 up a bit and see if it changes, or use a pressure tester.

Out of the actual hole out the back, ill check different hyper 2 lvls

HAHA! I FIXED IT, replaced the rear bolt oring again and it sealed up. Must of just been to small
