While I like Ruger's (have a p345), the only problem I had with my buddy's Walther was it didn't like crappy .22 ammo. Something about inconsistencies in the manufacturing process of the rounds. Get the nice stuff, and it worked flawlessly.
my baretta neos will shoot "most" .22 rounds (has to have a jacket, soft lead tip rounds fail to feed about 1:5) the cheap **** sprays your arms with not totally finished burning powder as the casing ejects.. so be warned, i cant assume my experience differs from most 22 pistols

Yeah, pretty pathetic. People are panicking about a new AWB and paying out the *** for AR lowers. I have two AKs, and an AK receiver on the way(Bought before everyone went bat **** crazy) and I'll be building that soon.
In short, people ARE paying that much for a stripped AR lower.

Also, I'm seriously thinking of going to Scheels in Springfield and grabbing a case or 2 of their 5.56 Federal 1000 round cases. $399.99/ea. But when people are asking damn near a dollar a round online right now, I figure I could cut alot of peoples' prices and make a penny or 2.

I buy mine from Georgia armory. Picked up 1000 round of 68 grain .223 for $300 about 6 or so months ago, as well as 1K .45 (forget the price on that though). I stopped buying factory ammo all together.

Also, guns, yay! I've been playing with those since I basically completely walked away from paintball. I've currently got the following:
-AR15 in 300 Blackout, all custom, all awesome.
-HK USP 45 Variant 1, love this thing, picked it up for a song.
-Sig Sauer Pro Series, 9mm, 1/5000 that were special ordered and outfitted for the South African Special Police Forces, tis pure sexiness to shoot, its a nail driver.
-Walther P1 (P38), brand new, one round fired from the factory, was supposed to go into service for the Munich Police in October 1985, avoided service hidden in the armory until November of 1994 when it was replaced with an HK USP 9...I'll likely keep this as an example of what they can be in all their glory. She's literally mint.
-HK (Umarex) 416 22 AR, fun plinker, its seen 15k+ through it, all trouble free with whatever ammo I've fed it. Fiance loves it, so it'll never go anywhere.
