It shoots plenty fast, faster than any mech gun I've ever shot. It can be upgraded to electro but like the guy above said you should've probably just purchased the envy or vibe up front if you wanted that since its likely to cost more converting the enmey.
Before you change anything about the gun, shoot it. You might be VERY surprised how well it performs as is. I know I am.

i'll think about modifying it when the money comes. since i usually play with a pump for the past 2 years i'd thought to switch things up every now and then and the eNMey was what i could afford either that or some cheap pos mech marker but i was thinking about buying an electro but its too much $$$$$$

but its much cheaper to buy the envy, rather than buy the enmy and then upgrade it to an electro with a double trigger. And didn't the enmey just come out? Your that tired of it already that you want to upgrade it? It shoots pretty fast for a mech.

He said he'd want JUST a double trigger, not to upgrade it to be electronic.

The problem is that because of the mech operation the trigger valve needs a certain amount of time to reset, and also to be completely released between pulls. Not making a complete pull is called "short stroking" and can lead to jams and chops. GOG has already said the reason they didn't put a double trigger on the eNMEy is because it made it more likely to short stroke. The single trigger made it almost impossible to short stroke and thus they went with that for reliability reasons.
Single trigger is more than fast enough for any rec or scenario game I've ever played in. I won't comment on speedball since that's not my thing but for 75% of the paintball out there the single trigger will be plenty. Once I actually get my hands on one I will see if there's any way to adapt ION or eXTCy triggers to it, as I'd like to cut down a double trigger with ball bearings to use in my eNMEy if it can be done. But for now, no, there is not compatible aftermarket trigger.

wouldn't increasing the spring tension help prevent the bolt from short stroking?

Yeah, but what's the point of making the spring stiffer if the whole point of a double is to give you more leverage to make the pull lighter?

The EP conversion makes it a stock ion, i'd MUCH prefer to keep the marker a mech.
Forget the barrel converter and the EP conversion. Spend your extra cash on a barrel kit for your marker. A good paint to barrel match will do so much more to improve your game then a faster trigger pull and the converters are really no good for accuracy.

Def get aftermarket barrel or barrel kit.
Maybe an on/off ASA if you'd like.
After that spend money on paint and actually playing
