Few Marq Questions.. I really tried to look answers up before posting!
I'm looking into purchasing a Bob Long marker, (vic or g6r still deciding, but leaning towards the vic) and I had a few questions.
1. Is it okay the anodize the bolt guide? I saw in a video somewhere saying that you can't? and by bolt guide I'm talking abbout the thing that is shown by the opening in the back. I circled what I was talking about below.
2. What exactly is a t-rex victory? does that just mean v2? I see it posted in the b/s/t forums a lot.
3. And finally, I tried looking in the manuals but I can't seem to find it, plus the manuals are the same for all kinds of marqs right? What is the weight of the v1 and v2? I feel like the v1 would weigh less due to the milling but I just wanted an actual number.
Thanks, and sorry if I asked any questions previously asked.

1- You can anodize it, but aftermarket anodizing voids the warranty and if it's not done correct could cause unfixable leaks.
2- T-rex was the original unofficial name of the V2 and kinda stuck with it.
3- All Gen 1 Marqs(Marqs with macrolines) use the Gen1 marq manual, all Gen 2(Marqs without macrolines) marqs use the Gen2 manual.

No ideal on the weight, though it will be such a small amount you'll never notice the difference.
They offer custom anodizing for new markers ordered.

It you wanted to order some new parts in a custom color you can, depending on inventory. LeftCoast Paintball would be a good bet for that.

dont forget to pick up some dow55, gotta have it for a BL marker. a little goes a long way though so you dont need much. marqs are pretty low maintenance.

And make sure you have a pressure tester. It'll solve a lot of the problems you'll be compelled to ask on here.

tri-flow isnt "necessary" it just stays in place longer than other oils. dow55 on the engine, oil on the bolt. tri flow has teflon particles in it so it tends to stick to things. its also good for keeping asa threads in good shape on any marker.

^^ Thanks!
Also, Gamer, I already made a thread but then I realized I could probably ask you or anyone in this sub-forum really. Can ninja slp regs be used with any other marker besides vic's and g6rs? I coulda sworn in some random thread somewhere I read someone saying that it worked great on a vapor?

They work on some other markers, but some take tuning to get it to work.
Its best to ask in the section for those markers.

i havent found a marker that does run with an slp reg. my g3 and f8 both run fine. even my cocker pump runs fine with the slp reg. you obviously wont be able to run it on a tippman or automag but any modern day electro can run it with no problems

Not true, sorry man.
A not all too many guns can use an slp without drop off mid-stream. Majority of my guns were not able to work correctly with an slp. I know two guys who have ran slp's on their luxes which run fine, everyone else I know that had tried couldn't get it to work. Iv tried on my luxes and it was a no go. Really depends on the marker itself, not the entire brand/line (except G6R and Vic of course )
