This happened in a YG game I was reffing. Team maxed the other team, so one of their guys pulls the flag and they all walk up to hang it together. Literally one foot from the start box, the kid with the flag gets shot by his teammate. They all stopped and looked around like, "What now?" and in my head I'm saying "drop the flag, give it to your teammate, whatever you do, don't hang dirty". The kid looks at his teammates, looks at the crowd, then hangs the flag. Dirty. Oh, what a day of learning that was.

I bought a used Spyder for my first gun. It was missing part of the field strip pin. Specifically, the part that held it in. Could've fixed it with a hairpin, but I didn't know any better. Played a couple of games, thought it was cool. Took a short break, came back in 5 mins, screwed in my CO2 tank, and took a shot. Field pin got knocked out. My internals went everywhere, CO2 started leaking out the gun, I'm trying to unscrew the tank, it was so bad. Took me 20 mins to find everything and put it back together.

I ran one of my spyders without a striker buffer. That gun has never been the same since lol

When me and my friends first started playing we all had mech versions of spyders or clones and we truly thought whoever's shot hardest(had the most velocity) was the best......we were using dimes as spacers to put more pressure on the striker springs etc....it was terrible, every one of us still has scars from being shot in the neck or hands

The first gun I got was a BT4 with a 22 inch barrel thinking i could become the illusive "paintball sniper"

One of my firend's Ninja tanks had cracks on the black coating around the carbon fiber and we all thought it was going to blow up and were going to throw it away. What a bunch of scrubs.

I used to think that when a marker had "eyes", I thought that meant it actually had a pair of eyes anno'd on the gun

When I moved back to NJ from college I went and played at an old regular field of mine from before college and there was a team there that needed another backer. I volunteered. They were all pompous jerks. Rarely actually played tournaments yet walked around like they owned the field. Anyways, I had been playing for 9 years and had a nice pro setup that was given to me when I played for West Virginia Univeristy. One of the team members told me to watch out and not shoot her in the back of the head.....I was angry because I was in clearly not a newb yet they were treating everyone like crap. So I shot her in the back of the head off the break.

I ran straight to the snake without getting hit and someone came up next to me and got me on the side of the neck a point blank and my whole head was numb for 2 days then the next time i went someone else got me in the forehead and I didn't have a headband and I had a huge ugly bump on my forehead for a week

first tournament i ever played was at blackbeard's cave (concrete bunkers, big tires, trees) went for a head first dive (like all the pro's did on the video's that i thought made me better when i started) smacked my face on a concrete bunker. cracked my lens, broke my feedneck in half, and got shot up

I go there all the time, not for paintball though.

I used to call myself out so I didn't have to get shot.

Hey man just curious, I still haven't played in a tourney, but what is the consequence of "hanging dirty"?

Wondering the same thing. I think they can disqualify or lose a point to the other team.

I can only speak for local tourney's..and in that case usually either the hang goes to the other team..or you receive a penalty and play the next game minus one player..

It took me about 2 months to figure out how to use my 4+3+2 nxe pod pack..I wore it upside down, and could not figure out how to use the +3 or +2 slots..nobody corrected me I just noticed I wasn't using it correctly -_-

Several years ago at my first tourney I threw up in my mask. I was playing snake bunkered my mirror and finished off the two left on the dorrito side. I was so excited. Ran grabbed the flag and as I was running it in just started throwing up in my mask. All I had that day to eat was a bottle of water and two packs of tic-taks. It was an unpleasant experience but I wont ever forget it.

My first big game ever, can't recall where it was. Things were going really well for awhile, first time playing with my brand new Evil Pimp (Had been playing Pball for about a year, I was 14ish.)

So the game was equal until the captions of two teams formed an alliance, which was allowed. The game got super boring. Yellow and red everywhere no one to shoot. We controlled all the good zones without much real contest. We out numbered the other team badly.

So me and a few friends decided we would break the alliance. First we started by clearing yellow out of a mostly red held zone. They just got mad, didn't fire back, some shot me after they were out. Others cursed me off. Some just whiped it saying it didn't count. When a few reds joined people actually walked back to staging, and shot back at us.

It went well till the village. I ran through a mix of red and yellow into a good house with a friend and 2 other friends supposed to be covering. We cried

"Alliance is over!" and opened fire on the yellow. Our friends didn't join us, the other reds didn't join us. It was me and one friend in a house against about 40-50 players. I got quite a few of them before I was called out actually, just because they ran out into the open while we stayed in cover. We got like maybe 7 kills that firefight, but I got shot more times that moment then in all other games of paintball combined. I got bonused balled all the way back to the staging area, you can't even imagine. Like rope after rope into my back. Refs told me they kicked 2 guys out for jacking up their velocity on field just to make the bonus balling worse.....it was a bad day.

I was going to play with my friend and his boy scout troop and everyone else in the troop was ok with me playing and the gun I was using was a JT Tactical and that is basically a tippmann 98 that looks like an m16 and one of the moms of one of his troop members went up right against my face and started cussing me out cuz I had my own gear and told me to leave the park or she will call the cops.

I was sittin behind a can talkin on the phone and an 8 yearold came up and shot me in the peen. Felt great
