I am having the same exact problem. I am afraid that putting a pod in it overnight would be overkill. It really isn't as big of a deal to me as it sounds like it is to you.

I've never had an issue with either of mine. Every single speedfeed I've ever used with the exception of my Virtue SF has had paintballs that rest on top and don't go in.

Is it brand new? I use an exalt speed feed on my invert too and it took a few days out, but it eventually broke in and feeds nice and smooth now.

Just let it break in normally, should be fine after you let it break in on it own.

You don't even have a rotor. I won't risk putting a pod in it. I will just try to break it, as well as my Axe, in a little.

I guess that means I will have to waste about 1000 paintballs to break in my speedgate.

well if you need to break it in and dont want to waste paint just run a bunch of pods through at home. Fill a pod 3/4 of the way, dump them all in, turn on the hopper and fill the pod up and repeat. Broken in speedfeed, no loss of paintballs, everyones a winner.
