Some time ago, during one of my moments of frustration of not getting enough D3 teams signed up for our events, I tossed out the idea of bumping the top 5 teams to D3. Because I've had a few PM's regarding this already, I just thought I would clear the air.

I will NOT be forcing any teams to bump to D3, just so long as their roster represents that (a D4 team). What I mean is, the days of having played tourney ball on the D3 level or higher in your career, taking off a few years, then coming back to play D4 is not going to fly. If most of your team (more than 2) has played at the D3 level (or higher based on APPA) in more than 3 events, you will be asked to adjust your roster or play D3.

APPA is the standard however, there may be times where we will to go off our own judgment.

In the rare occasions where a an older player, who has been known to have played paintball at a higher level (D3 or Higher) prior to APPA's inception, we have quit a few folks who have been in paintball for some years now involved with the MWXL that will assist with those situations.
