I've been digging it too. Still have to go in at 0800 to "sign in" but then I just hit the gym and head home for lunch time with the family. Worked on my motorcycle yesterday. Playing a bunch of video games. And playing the the kids and the ridiculous amounts of new **** they got for xmas lol

screw that crap. We work 0700-1600 here, and the other day my (new)TSgt comes in about 1530 saying "hey, lets go review some of the T.O.'s for redline" I was like.....why don't you have a seat over there while we talk about something lmao. I don't start doing **** within an hour of time to leave, unless it's an a.m. flyer. I don't mind working late when it's for a mission or flight, but I'm not working late for b.s. that can be handled the next day

Did anyone get any holiday hookups through the base? Our base got quite a few tickets to the Rose Bowl on the 1st. I'm pretty freakin pumped, I've always wanted to go...now I have the chance. $150 seats for free, sometimes there are perks!!!!!!!!

we do system test and evaluation here, for new upgrades on the jet we get "PTO's" (preliminary tech orders) and we are allowed to redline them with pen and make changes as we see fit before it goes into real production, and into the rest of the fleet.

yep, our "goal" is to make sure they are fixed before they get out, but obviously not everything can be caught.

Didnt' someone from reserves to active here? I'm debating whether to put in a package to go from guard to active. How was the process and how long of a wait? My biggest concern is being put with a unit where I wouldn't perform my particular job. Im a 1N4 and I know of some 1n4s going to fighters wings and actingas 1n0's.
