the newest version is 8.5.. but pretty cool

did you use alot of sketches to the model the parts?

didn't know there was anything newer then 7.5, how is it? and not really that many unless you count the integral sketches for extrusions and stuff. And thank you by the way

We just got nx 8.5 for work. I like it alot but sometimes the program pisses me off. I'm still pretty new at NX... coming from solidworks and inventor its quite a jump


I was just curious about sketches because I was watching some videos and this guy made sunglasses and cellphone with no sketches

Yah the previous program I used was solid edge so i kinda know where you are coming from. in my version of NX you can make sketches separately or when you go to make an extrusion or a revolve it gives you the option of making the sketch there so its internal to the feature. Also I know in NX 7.0 you need to constrain the sketches as well but my buddy who uses 7.5 at work says it automatically constrains as you go along
