Tuning a 2012 Alien Invasion
When I tune my invasion, do I turn the nobs on the LPR and HPR or just the screws in the middle? Also, what should I set my dwell at and how many trigger pulls is it?
Thanks!

just the screws. dont mess with the knobs at all. dont ever touch either of the knobs. but once your lpr is set you never need to touch it again.
turn dwell way up, tune to 300, turn lpr down a full turn, then just slowly turn it up as you shoot a rope, as soon as the balls get up to top speed just drop the dwell back down, to stock settings and boom. if you really want to mess with the dwell (no need to ever) you can drop dwell untill you see a decrease in fps over a chrono then bump back up 1

there are a bunch of ways to go about it but if the lpr is already set from the factory no need to really mess with it. Jack sets the guns up to work awesome and you wont make it much better.
the idea is to run a little to much lpr and too much dwell. adjust ball speed to 300fps with the hpr. once its set, turn the lpr down until you see a drop in velocity, once that happens, turn the lpr back up just a tad to get it back to 300fps. then do the same with the dwell. chances are you will end up at 12ms dwell and the same spot the lpr was at to begin with.
You did not specify what board you have so noone can really help you as to what manual you need. you might have a virtue, tadao or even the hatred led board.

leave them stock. if you have to reset the board, do it. only mess with eye settings if you have a issue (which you shouldnt)

They don't do much becasue unless you set the trigger to activate with very little movement and no pre firing travel the gun doesn't bounce.
Again set the trigger to have some pre firing travel and you can set those at 3 or even 2 without problems - or set them to 8 and you won't tell a difference - no speed loos

Thanks a bunch! Just went out today, shot great. Although, there is a problem where, on semi-auto, the gun will fire when I pull the trigger and release it. The gun doesnt fire every time, but probably 50% of the time or more it fires twice. Any idea why it does this?
