When do I need an APPA ID?
Im starting to get more into tournament ball from encouraging words at my local field. And i was going to start playing local 3-man, im not asking what gun i should get or if my setup is ok. But my question is, do i need an ID to play my first tournament, or can i just walk on with my team?

It depends on the tournament, whether it's a league event or if it is just a local tournament. You shouldn't have to have an ID for a local tournament a field hosts regularly. Your best bet is to talk to the field where the tournament is taking place and they should give you a better answer from there.

APPA accounts are free and if you want to get serious about tournaments, sooner or later you'll need it. The easiest way to tell if you need an APPA account for a specific event is to ask the host field if they're using it for registration. If they use the APPA, you must have an account to participate.
