DM12 vs NT10
Figured I'd post here and ask the real Dye fans. Im getting back into the sport and I need help deciding which of the two I should pick.
I already found people locally who are selling the guns and they're both around the same price range. I just want to know which of the 2 would make my money's worth. Does one perform better than other?

Depends on how you are with your guns. The NT feels great in the hands and is lighter and smaller than a DM12. There is no lpr so it functions differently than a DM. Maintanence is more frequent than a DM, probably after every use maybe two uses depending on how much paint goes through it. The NT's shot is not as smooth or quiet as a DM, but sending it to Billiy Wing closes the gap between the two. bad part about the NT is the bad rep it has which it doesnt deserve and that since its techinically not in production parts may be slightly harder to come by. and its very slight.

I own both markers, I tend to lean towards the NT because of its size and efficiency, however my DM12 is a great marker too. Ive been a matrix guy since 03 you really can't go wrong with either choice. I think people on average have better luck with the DM's, while most people have had some chopping issues with NT's I've had next to non, and I've really never had issues with my DM's so my luck might be better than most. So I really like the NT for its size and performance but the DM is a safer bet all around if your not sure.

Depends on if you want a beautiful marker that's great on air, or a ugly brick that is quite

DM over an NT every time, and I had a good (working) NT11.

Agree
I just feel the lpr makes the dm superior.

Yeah? What do you know? You've only been around the sport for over a decade.
BTW. I have to agree the 06 and up DM is every bit as good as anything out there. Slap a Critical trigger on it and don't look back. I use my DM9 as much as my Clone VX.

When you are deciding between the two, keep in mind that the NT was a bit of a marketing fail. It was SUPPOSED to expand their market share and provide a spool alternative to poppets on the market... instead it cut into DM sales and people who shot it said "HEY! This doesn't shoot like a DM!"... duh. The NT is supposed to be more efficient then the DM, but still be way more smooth then a poppet.
