Dm9 setting for 40 weather

I was wondering Wat the best setting for 40 degree weather...I had alot of issues wit paint chopping this weekend and was wondering what I could do

You can turn up the dwell and lower the LPR, that would help. You might find you will get less shots per tank. Also look at reducing the tension on your loader, if you have a rotor I've found that it will still shoot 12.5 bps at three turns out from stock (flush).

set your dwell to 22-23 and set your LPR as low as possible.(turn it all the way down, then slowly turn it up until the gun is fully cycling properly).

thats all you can really do other than get paint thats less brittle.
that being said, DM's aren't tough on paint at all. unless you're settings are really out of whack, its probably the paint itself.

try 21 dwell 2-3 turns out on the LPR. make sure the bolt is fully cycling with no drop offs.

thanks guys ill def try it it wasnt in the barrel cause by the end of the day my gun was shooting 10.5 (cause the eyes were covered)

If you get severe barrel breaks then the paint can come back and cover the eye pipe, which can cause the eye default.

It was definitely the paint. That dxs basic gets stupid brittle in the cold. I had my rotor set to the lowest possible tension and it was a blender.

When you play in cold weather, you want to use the cheaper paint that's too bouncy in the summer. In the cold it will work better and still break. If you can't do that, try and keep it warm. If you can't do that then try to open up the bag and let it soften up a bit. That and the other suggestions people have made are all you can do.

Higher dwell and lower LPR like others have said, you may also want to raise your eye delay time. It can help you prevent clipping that odd ball when your hopper gets low and the stack isn't consistent.

Lower hopper tension. Keep your ROF lower rather than higher.
