Weird Dropoff Issue

I'd like to start by saying that I've read through the stickys and ZDS and there's no troubleshooting for my issue.

The setup is a Shocktech SFT, Sprung HE bolt, Virtue board.

Slight leak before I took it apart. Before I disassembled it the first shot(eyes off) when you turned the board on would be a full cycle. The next shot wouldn't be a full cycle. If you turned the board off and then back on again the first would be a full cycle, the rest would be weaker. I also know it wasn't reg recharge rate because I waited awhile between a few of the shots and it didn't help.

After I cleaned and relubed with Dow33 the leak stopped. I reset the board back to factory and put in a fresh Energizer battery. The issue is still there.

I'm not sure what else to try. Unless I'm totally missing something obvious, I'm stuck. Help me out Nation

the reason it probably worked the first shot was due to the anti-bolt stick adding dwell to the shot. Make sure your dwell is around 12 ms. Did you also see if your bolt slides smoothly inbetween the can? If not they might not leak but are causing a lot of bolt stick.

I might. It's not a Smart Part's ASA, it's a Shocktech On/Off which I've never had issue with before.

The stock Virtue board dwell setting is 12ms, which is where it's at.

The bolt and can are pretty smooth. There is a squeaking noise when they rub. The can is getting stuck on the HE oring which seems pretty large. Should I try swapping it out?

is say go with new orings inside the can. those can cause alot of fritction if not properly matched. bolt stick is a *****. maybe a couple more clicks on the dwell wont hurt? and check operating pressure at the reg? 180 ish i think what mine is at.
