New colors? All they did was the same black and white with different feed gate colors and liner covers. I experimented with a splash on mine.

I know I was trying to get the thread moving again. No one had posted for 10 days. BTW that is a great dye job^.

I have been lurking for a while and finally I tried dyeing my Spire. I tried to Dye a Steely Grey. I followed the instructions and after 2 minutes everything was black, jet black. So i thought if I could get some of the black off it would be ok so on with the bleach. After sitting for nearly an hour it was a funky purplish brown. EPIC FAILI gave up at this point at used Krylon thin coats 15 coats to be exact with 10 of them clear. Am I wrong thinking that it turned out OK?

Looks good but only time will tell if it chips or not

Thanks and you are right. I have painted masks in the past and they have held up, but hoppers tend to take more abuse. So only time will tell! After the awful Dye job I was willingly to risk it.

This is how you dye it (I just did it with my spire.)
1. Go bye the LIQUID rit dye from a craft store ( got mine from michaels )
2. Fill a stainless steel pot with 16 cups of water and 10 table spoons of the rit dye if you don't use stainless steel the pot will be wrecked( start boiling water after rit dye is but in pot )
3. I left my spire in the pot for about 1-2 mins with the spire logo and all the plastic parts on and it dyed the white part and not the logo/colored plastic parts
4. Rinse off in hot water and let air dry
5. Let the heads turn
