[Magic rat]

Hi folks bought a second hand Sceptre insert kit for my 4 and 5 speed,kit is in great condition but I have a problem.
The thread on the back is the correct one,but when it's got an insert in it makes it too long and the thread only catches by one turn.
Am I doing something wrong or is it the wrong kit?

Remember, there's three generations of Scepters. The first one had slightly longer inserts than the second, and the third were VERY short.
