d3 xball interest?
Would anyone here be interested in having a d3 xball division for the cfps? Its been a while since there has been one and i think there are plenty of teams that can compete on a d3 level. It's not that hard people, just need 7 people at least, a coach and some family for pit crew!

Given that there will most likely be a D3 put up by the Smiths, Boosie Boys will have a team ready to play. Whether it be Race-2 or Xball. Obviously hoping for the latter of the two.

D3 xball have been tried before to no success. i think at this moment they should start with a d3 rt2 to get teams intetested and then go from there.

That's backwards. Obviously there is going to be more rt2 teams. Because 1 xball team will just make 2 rt2 teams.

RT2 would def be more successful. Start small at first and if things play out well, try xball again

Everyone forgets that the d3 x-ball was quite successful when it was first introduced into the CFPS, and then those teams moved up divisions in the PSP, and the guys that played d4 never moved from d4...

What would be your definition of more successful? More teams? More players?

One definition of success would be that the division makes every event all year and not a struggle for teams to register and pay for it to happen.

So then you couldn't speculate that Rt2 would be more successful than Xball, considering neither have made it a full season.

Un true rt2 made it a full season before the re ranks came from appa however xball has never made a full season

right, pretty sure two seasons ago played the RT2 the entire season and if I remember correctly won like 1/2 entry to world cup for series.
but i was just saying now it SEEMS like the safer bet for anything to make it the entire season for D3 would be RT2.
again, we're up for anything - just throw something at us boss, we'll take care of it.

2 or 3 but that is why d3 couldn't thrive but now it can be revived again. But like it has been said its easier to get rt2 d3 to stay alive all year. It takes less dudes and if one guy falls off its easier to get another on the flip side if one or 2 guys fall off an xball team that most likely is curtains for that team that event. Most likely the johns will offer both to see how it goes but will probably end the same way with xball falling apart half through the year and for sure at the end with teams planning on playing cup.

I vote instead of thinking that if 1 guy falls off you can just snag another up, that you just pick that extra guy up and a friend and play xball.
