Yeah they are, by 2 inches I think. My 8 inch that came out of my mustang is offset by 2 inches.

Apparently i've heard a 90-92 ranger that has an 8.8 is a 56 1/2 with a 2 inch off set... That'd fit PERFECTLY in a 66 mustang. My axle is a 57 1/2 however, i could use that half inch on either side. Thoughts?

im am almost 100% sure those ranger axles dont work, wrong offset, had to cut one up earlier this month to fit into a 69 mustang...sucked.

if your sure and all the measurments are right i would maybe go to H&R and get some 1/2 inch spacers and put them on the wheels and itll be much faster

thanks, ive had a ton of cars, as it is this month ive sold 2 rancheros and a 65 falcon futura, i have a line on a 65 ranchero and a 64 falcon sprint convertible i will be looking at at the end of the month as well.

I feel ya brother, I'm about DONE with rust. I'm almost done with all necessary body work to get my motor in. I found out I have to end up going with a new rear end because my stock one is sitting in crooked. Wiring... I still got some work to do I'll post up pics of where I am at.
