yeah but by making it matte you're just hopping on the gimmick train which degrades the brand.

While I agree with keeping with tradition, we've worn our traditional unis all year, like I said.

It's one game, and fans like to see variety every once in a while, and making the colors on the helmet matte isn't some drastic change.

I love the helmets, and I'm just okay with the jerseys.

Wolves have been protected for YEARS now. There's over 3000 gray wolves in Minnesota alone. They only release 3000 tags in the continental US. Considering it's one of the most difficult animals to hunt, there is no way all those tags will be filled.

The government spent 1 million dollars to kill 264 wolves that were devastating livestock in the northern rockies, after paying 500,000 to the livestock owners for damages. Now why would they spend our tax dollars on that when there are plenty of hunters and farmers thirsty to get there revenge.

A regulated wolf season is here to stay. They need to be controlled. Deers may be pests but wolves are even bigger pests. A deer won't kill your dog, your cows, a wild caribou.

I'm a strong supporter for a longer deer season as well and more tags. I would like to see twice the available tags to people who opt to donate the meat to a food bank or somewhere.

And no, wolves in the western great lakes and rockies are no longer endangered.

you are pants on head retarded if you think wolves cause more damages than deer. not just to the environment but they cause hundreds of deaths and thousands of car accidents yearly. most people i know my age or older have had an accident with a deer around here. deer account for over $10mil in damages in NJ alone where the wolves that "devastating" live stock accounted for 193 confirmed head of cattle in the northern rockies...yea that really trumps deer damages...

edit: from wiki "Deer-vehicle collisions lead to about 200 human deaths and $1.1 billion in property damage every year." that isnt taking into consideration all the yards they destroy

Deaths of humans =/= deaths of livestock and animals that are nearing protection now

One could argue that human population should be controlled and deers are helping do that.

But no really, if you think that wolf population should not be controlled than you're retarded. There's more than enough to serve their purpose in nature.

And in all honesty, I would wager that coyotes control deer numbers more than wolves do. And don't give me that bull**** about there's more coyotes. There have been studies done. Coyotes go after deer, chickens, rabbits, etc. Wolves primarily feast on elk, caribou, and livestock.

You also must have missed the part of my posts where I said I fully support opening up deer season as well.

We don't have problems with deer over population here. We aren't a bunch of nancies who don't hunt. And why would we want wolves or other harmful animals around our children?

tons of people hunt here, we actually have ideal living conditions for them here (ie not a freaking ****ty swamp) and no predators since the bear and foxes are rare (although coyote are moving in). plus there is tons of food for them.

they extended deer season here multiple times, it doesnt do anything. deer season (bow/primative weapons) might as well be year round here as is. the only thing that controls the population is if they bring in people to kill every single one they see. it will be under control for a few months-year then it explodes again

Obviously not enough people hunting if you have over population issues. And if that is truly the case your wildlife and fisheries department should expand the season. It's their responsibility to maintain population levels.

Believe it or not the vast majority of the state is not a swamp. We have extensive populations of many different wildlife. Hence the name sportsman's paradise.

they expand the season every year and it is already long as hell (i believe it is 5 and a half months now and they open it up on special weekends). its a huge problem since you cant exactly hunt in suburban and urban areas where houses are right next to each other and there are tons of deer running around.

Step 1. Don't vote for Obama
Step 2. Allow rifle season for 6 weeks out of the year
Step 3. ???
Step 4. Profit

you have never been able too and its not an issue at all. given the terrain a shot gun with a sabot or rifled barrel w/ slug is just as effective.

you can use rifles for bore, coyote and random small ****. that is probably because its mostly done in the middle of BFE

if you hunt deer with a rifle you are a ***** scrub anyway. you are going to be shooting the ****ers from like 50-100 feet away most of the time wtf do you need a rifle for?
