Cobb is an incredibly poor mans Percy Harvin.

Percy is an epic number 2. He doesn't fit in very much at the 1 spot, but he is the best at what he does in the league (slight homer, but who is better?). He is so incredibly versatile making him a weapon every time he can touch the ball whether that be a catch or a handoff. His biggest flaws are that he doesn't score touchdowns (because we have AP to run them in, or Rudolf to catch them), and he has a crappy QB who would only throw the ball to him 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage. He still managed to average 10 yards per catch.

His first game he was experiencing soreness if I remember correctly so they were being safe with him.

I know he benched himself in one game for a little bit because he heard a loud popping noise coming from his knee that he wasn't comfortable with. Turns out it was just scar tissue breaking up and it was completely normal. I want to say that was game 3, but I might have made that part up.

Percy on the Pats would be woa. I'd love to see Denver grab him. Him playing the slot instead of Stokley with DT and Decker on the outsides? Wowzers.

He's like a better Welker. Welker is crazy good inside the numbers up until about 10 yards down field, but if you try to use him anywhere outside that area he is very limited. I think Harvin can stretch the field occasionally and make defenses respect that aspect of his game. NE tries to throw deep to Welker every once in a while but it never works.

As of right now, Percy is much better than Welker. Welker isn't a young guy though, Percy has only been in the league a few years. Percy isn't necessarily 'very limited' outside the numbers, he just isn't a vertical threat in the way that receivers like BMarsh, or Fitz, or any of those guys are

So should I make a new thread? In the ncaa thread we just used to let them keep running. In STA we make new threads. What do we do with the NFL thread?
