Lightbulb Tested and True the Best lube/grease for your DM

I searched around and to no avail I didn't find any grouping of information of the best lubes and greases for our matrixes.

(Just random threads/posts with people only putting what lube they use and nothing else.)

I was thinking that maybe we could get some information on all the Lubes and Greases out there that people hold true, and dear to their hearts and why.

So what I would like is for everyone to post their favorite lube and grease, bolt system, what year, how long they have used it (the lube), and the benefits, also (if any) disadvantages. Maybe even lower settings you have achieved from using certain lubes, lower dwell, lower LPR. How often you have to re-lube.

Feel free to introduce your own mixes and concoctions just leave information as to why you do so.

For the sake of having some information started, two different dye techs have told me what they recommend

Macdev - Militia Lube: No FSDO or Bolt stick, Doesn't need much, Great in cold weather

Hater - Marmalade: No FSDO or Bolt stick, Great in cold weather

Violent Series - PB Jelly: No FSDO or Bolt stick, Colorless helps see o-ring wear especially with the colored o-rings, Great in cold weather

As of now I have owned a DM6 Bwing bolt (sold) and DM7 Bwing Bolt

I have been using Marmalade for the past month and it's given me no problems in cold weather (i live in ohio)

If any of the long time DM gurus could chime in and help me out with more information on the grease/lubes pros cons list I would be forever grateful.
I will add all information I can to the thread along with the pros and cons, go ahead and leave some information I'm sure it will be valuable at some point!

Thanks in advance everyone!!

I've had a matrix since 2004, have rebuilt/tuned hundreds of markers over the years, live in MD where the temperature ranges from 100*F to 10*F and have never had bolt stick issues on my personal guns. I use Dow/Molykote 33 Light. Works as well or better than other lubes in a wide temperature range and is cheap.

And there may or may not be a thread structured like this one, but a "which lube is best" thread pops up about once a week. If you search, you will find plenty of opinions.

I have been using Dow33 since I purchased my DM4 back in 05. It just gives me one less thing to have to think about when I am playing because I have never had a problem with it.

sorry but this isnt new, lube for a dm has been discussed countless times.

i used slick honey for the longest time and now i have switched to monkey poo for all my spool valves. both work great.

i have a dm6 and dm9 right now, but have owned just about every possible dm in the past. probably over 10 different dm's.

Slick Honey here.

If I could get Dye lube in a larger tube/pot/etc than the tiny little BS one that comes with the gun I'd use that.

Slick honey is amazing too. I just never have it in my bag because it's with my bike stuff.

I use slick honey on my DM6, ICD Freestyle8, vibe, inline and LPR regs on all my markers except the BL Protege. My last DM5 and old FS4 gen1 had some fsdo, but the FS8, DM6, and vibe love it in normal temps.

Edit: I mixed some superlube pb oil in my slick honey to thin it down slightly.

If I didn't have so much Dow 33 I would use Lurker Lube. alas, I have a ton of Dow 33.
