My Etek 3 :X
Well, I just got my Etek 3 AM today!
Got it used, from a friend, for only $280!
I've shot a Mini, Axe, and Etha, but I chose this Etek!
Here's some pictures of my baby, I just cleaned her up :X

Anyways, now that you've seen my pro-photography...
What do you guys recommend me to upgrade?
It's got a cure 2 bolt in it.

If anything I'd get a cure 4... prolly bout it. Mine came with zick2 and Ape oled... I got an amazing deal though. I doubt the zick- zick2 is much difference. Maybe a barrel kit to better match paint. The shaft 4 sets are available if you want to stay PE, or grab a freak kit or dw cf barrel with freak inserts.

If anything, put more paint through it. The guns stock work wonders and get better as you shoot more through it. If you really HAVE to upgrade or have money burning a hole in your pocket, get a new barrel or a barrel kit to match paint. If the Cure 2 bolt doesn't break paint keep it stock, you don't really need an upgrade. |

I've had both through my Etek3, and the Kush is quieter, and still smoother than the Hush!

The only problem that I have with this gun is that it is loud.
I'm running it with a steelie right now, so it's not so efficient with my tank  |

To get it quieter and smoother, break in the marker and then you can tune dwell (read the manual to learn what it is) and adjust the lpr. I have my Etek at 11.5 on the dwell and the lpr turned in two and a half turns from flush and it is VERY smooth. Good luck!

Just did that to my Etek3 AM with Hush Bolt. Wasn't quieter but definitely smoother. Smoother that every stock Ego I've shot

I loved my Etek.
Maybe the barrel if your having problems. Or a hush bolt. I hear the t-tech hush bolts are nice on the PE guns.
I had an original Etek and bought a cure 4 but it wasn't compatible I ended up selling the Etek and buying an 08 ego and just using the cure on that. I haven't had any chopping or air problems, noise isn't an issue. Not yet!
Love my ego. Just like the Etek on steroids.

I have a ETek 3 in that same color scheme. I bought as a LT and then put on the AM upgrade kit. I also put in the cure 4 bolt and now it shoots even better than it did stock. I absolutely love this marker and recommend to everybody who wants a mid level gun.
