Need 2013 Dates

Lets go Tom! We need to get at least the first date if you are going to put it on sometime in January. People need to know and prepare. The earlier everyone knows the more teams we can get the UWL

I think all they players interested in participating should call Tom ASAP.

Bombard him with calls and show your interests as I am worried it is falling through; is the series going to happen this year?

I talk to Tom all the time and 2013 UWL is 100% but as Tom works for PSP he needs to have the PSP schedule before he can lock in dates.

I heard from Glenn Forster that Tom said the first date would be January 26-27, at SC Village. But this is unconfirmed of course through the website or Facebook. If Tom wants more teams to be there he better make it official soon so that players can secure the cheapest possible flights if travel is required.

Jan is just beyond stupid.....Us guys out on the East Coast need a little time to book flights, hotels.Take off of work...What a great way to start off season by suprising us with 1st date....Poor planning is gonna kill the UWL...

It is the "end" of January, so we do have a full two months to plan still. It could be a better situation, but it's still manageable if Tom makes it official soon. We only had a month to get our tickets to Chicago once they finally confirmed the dates, and it all worked out. I understand Tom is stretched pretty thin with other responsibilities, and unless one of us wants to step up and take on the headache of organizing this thing we better just roll with it. I think he's doing a great job considering everything. I certainly can't remember having this much fun in over 15 years.

Thanks Danger Dan for the update. I feel more confident now about planning and getting my team together for the SC Village event.

We do not have far to travel as we are just driving down from Santa Barbara, but it really sucks for teams coming from out of state if we don't get any set dates soon.

UWL Event #1 at SC Village is on Jan 26-27 this is a solid date and confirmed several times by Tom so you can bank on that date.

Yes Desert Edge will be there with a team in each division.

Trying to decide on pro or open for 2013.

GP Rules are the same with no changes and Tom has dates but wont make them official till he get get a better idea on a couple PSP dates.

necessary. We suck as good as the next guys lol.

UWL is the best place to come and play your hearts out but still not get cought up in drama and hang out with the other teams there. We have made a LOT of friends in the UWL that have made paintball more of a Family experience for us that anything. We have lost WAY more games in the UWL than we have ever won but that's ok we work to get better every event.
