freak barrels are great. But i wouldn't go as far to say that they are the best. I haven't tried all of the top barrel kits out there so i wouldn't know which one is the best. But i would reccommend a freak barrel kit.

Common Quality Barrel kits in no particular order:
Dye Boomstick
Freak
Lucky 15
Eclipse Shaft
Custom Products
Stiffi
Sly
Deadly Winds
Macdev Shift Kit
These are SOME of the most common quality barrel kits and all will preform reasonably close to each other.
Find one you like and can buy in your price range.

I love the Stiffi. It's super quiet, the porting makes it consistent, and it's even pretty cheap.

the Ultralight Kit by Dye is prolly the best on the market, but you'll pay through the nose and out the *** for it.

For a Geo, I would recommend the Eclipse Shaft Kit. I prefer keeping to the brand when it comes to Eclipse. Otherwise, I would go with a Super Freak kit.

I personally use a Ego 11 with a super freak kit. Good amount of bore sizes, if you have different threads you only need to buy a different back end, 3 barrel fronts one of them being a apex for woodsball but everyone has their preference. I always say borrow a friends when you can before you buy.

I have and u sly, empire freak, gog freak, deadly wind and shaft 4....they all work...matching paint to barrel bore seems to be the best technique to appratio a good barrel or kit and there are great youtube videos on all that stuff.
