Let's be honest here. People on POTN seem to be amazed by just about anything...

The only reason I even touch that site is for used gear.

The whole "let's kiss each others *****" mentality there drives me insane. If something looks like ****, say it looks like ****. Don't butter people up. Real critique is what helps drive people to get better. That's the problem these days, everyone gets a DSLR for Christmas, takes a few shots and their heads get huge because their family tells them "they're amazing" and "have a great eye" when the photos are pictures of their dogs and cats.

The only part of POTN I can stand is the Transportation forum. On any given day there will be some sweet photos in there.
