can not get my viking to fire
can not get my viking to fire. it has a pandora board and i verified that the board works by plugging a cocker noid into. what else can i check? first viking and do not know to much about them. i do not have a lpr pressure tester so is there any other way to test to see if the lpr is not set right?

First, make sure the 9V is fresh. This is step 1 to nearly any problem with Vikings. Assuming it's good, the next thing I would try would be to turn the eyes off and see if that fixes it. You could also remove the frame while leaving all wiring connected and the gun aired up, and try hitting the manual button on the solenoid to test if the micro switch and power to the solenoid are ok. The more details you give us, the better. Is the gun cycling but not firing? That can be as simply as the bolt being turned backwards or the dwell set too low.

i verified that the board, micro switch and the socket for the noid all works. was able to plug a cocker noid into to make it cycle.

i turn the lpr all the way in and no leak but was able to hear sputter, like the lpr is working when i pull the trigger.
is pressure on the hammer from the lpr or is it from the main reg? when i try to push the bolt forward there is tension on it.
could not find the manual button on the noid.

Just thought about this.. but since you have Mac solenoid, what is the dwell set at? Humphrey should be around 10ms-12ms but Mac would be around 16ms-20ms iirc.
I'd say flash to Rmod4.20 if you can.

need the software first.
actually got it working. after testing the board again with a cocker noid it was fully cocking the noid so i replug the viking noid back into the frame and it working. not sure how well it shoots but at least i'm able to dry fire.
thanks for all the replies and help

Aww, you probably do. But you are in close proximity to the sole existing center of the AKA universe left out there. I'm all the way out here on the west coast doing what I can to keep it alive.
PS -- for anyone else who needs it, the software/etc is back up on my server here:
