Standard Replay XD
So been wanting a barrel cam for a while now and was looking at the replay when i realized the r7 was not the same as the one on ans because it doesnt have the paintball mount. has anyone used the standard version on their gun? i dont want to drop the extra $$$ on the paintball one. whats the difference other than the mount?

The R7 is the standard XD, the only difference is the mount the R7 has. Actually, it is the same as the XD 1080, which I think is the main camera that they have.

Ok lets make this thread correct.
Replay XD was the original camera made by replay. (wasn't HD)
Then they made the Replay XD 1080 (aka HD)
Then Greg Hastings made the R7 (which is a private label Replay XD 1080)

But the only difference between the last two is the mount. The Replay XD 1080 and R7 are the exact same camera, with the exact same features.

Gone are the days when private label actually meant something. You could by a regular XD 1080, a R7 mount, spend the same amount of money as someone buying a R7 XD 1080, and nothing would be different.

It's interesting, because the packaging insert on the R7 is different, as well as it comes with the mount, but everything else is the same between the two models. Oh, and the price is more for the R7 because of the mount.
