Best bolt for etek 4

im looking for an upgrade bolt and cant decide whether i should get the hush bolt, dart kit or cure 4

The Hush bolt isn't very useful since it does little do nothing except for an extra half a pod of efficiency, the Dart kit ONLY works with the Ego 11/CSL, and I would personally say go with the Cure 4 only if you NEED a new bolt to play with super brittle ultra evil.

I've had a friend tell me if i buy an etek to get the pootypaintball.com etek/ego bolt which comes with upgraded detents as well. I'm still deciding on a marker so i can't really tell you anything about it's performance, but just letting you know it's an option that is out there.

In the end the Soft face was a bad idea..Well great for people who can leave there bolts alone but bad for the kid that takes everything apart and cant figure out how it went back together. Bad for us because we had to replace allot of soft tips because of it and they are not easy to make. The entire bolt from the bolt to all the soft parts is made in house with our own molds and machines. We are working on a new bolt. Well its in the planing. Once its done I will post it up for sure. I still need to post the prototype Pooty bolts on pbnation. Maybe today.

But the new bolt will be the end result of everything we have learned not to do and what we tested works the best and will be a new trend in poppet bolts for the Eclipse guns and others. Still a ways away

New here so sorry if this has already been posted somewhere else but any idea when this new bolt will be coming out? I was about to buy your cure 4 bolt but might wait a little bit for the new one

For the Etek, couldn't you just use the bolt from the DART kit and lower the LPR a little? I know the other components of the kit won't work unless they are installed on the Ego 11.

Msweeneygt: that is one hell of a sick Etek you have.
Ravenstylea2: I was wondering the same thing. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to considering the bolt's are the same for the Ego and Etek 4, unless I'm sorely mistaken they both use the Cure 4.

It has taken alot to get it looking like that. Always good to get feedback from other people. As for the Dart kit. The bolt will "work" in other Egos/Eteks but the Dart is a kit and all parts are to be used in conjunction for the kit to effectively do it's job. As such was made for only the CSL/Ego 11. As for the Egos and Etek 4s having the Cure 4 bolt...No. The CSLs had the option to receive the Cure 4 after production caught up. The Etek 4s have their own version of a "Cure" bolt. By my understanding they are more like the Cure 3s prior to the Cure 3+.

They have a Cure 1 bolt, just straight up.

I have a cure 4 pooty and it works great. Changes the sound signature a little. Makes it a little more muffled instead of the sharp crack sound.

Never mind just read up read up a little and it comes with the Cure 3. Well at least mine did, but yeah I've heard good things about all the bolts that you posted but the people I know that shoot Etek's have just stuck w/ PE and used the Cure 4. I have one friend that shoots w/ the Hush but it really isnt all that quieter than the Cure's.
