Picked up a new 2010/2011 Burton Sherlock for $290, I banged up the base on my same year process camber pretty bad hitting rocks and branches opening weekend at mammoth when there was no snow, got it p texed and sold it, I was out about 175 on the whole deal but the shop I got the Sherlock from will do any repair work, waxing, and tuning for free. Stoked to try it out this weekend
I personally don't buy into all the burton hate. I've liked everything I've owned of theirs, had great experiences with their customer service, and I'm never one to dislike something just because it's popular.
I'll probably go somewhere else for my next board just to mix it up, but I don't have anything bad to say about them.
