Question *DM12 Stock Bolt VS Billy Wing Bolt*

I am a huge DM fan, and have a DM12. I wanted to see peoples responses with people that have the BWing Bolt or shot with and without bolt on if it is worth the cash to get the Billy Wing Bolt or to simply keep the stock bolt instead.

Is there really a legit difference between these bolts or is it more the hype of getting a BWing Bolt than the actual difference?

I have read about the comparisons and I understand it can help with a more reliable shoot to shoot consistency, and also helps with not ever having the bolt to be sticking although I've never had that problem.

So before flaming, I looked around on this site for a this comparison between bolts and didn't find anything.. If you want to flame, you need something better to do with your time. Just want to see what people think. Thank you.

It makes the gun a little "lighter" because the can is carbon fiber on the bwing instead. The bolt is also annodized. Otherwise, they are the same. I didn't notice any performance between my Dm12 with the Bwing bolt and my two teammate's stock DM12s.

By hand, you will notice a difference in the bolts as the BW is easier to move and smoother, when aired up, I do not notice much if any difference. I also think its pointless to sell your highest end marker, at a highest end price, without all the highest end parts. No relevance to performance but my 2 cents.

Unlike the others who posted before me, I have noticed a performance increase with the lower lpr settings. I have owned around 10 dms and everyone that had a bwing bolt in it was noticeably smoother and quieter than the stock bolt when both properly tuned.

But as for the bwing bolt being worth it, you can send your bolt to be polished or polished and annodized which will have the same results for 30-45$ depending on if you want it annodized or not. As for your possibly next question, a pure polished bolt will be softer and be able to yield a lower lpr setting. The down side to this is it will wear faster if you don't properly maintain bolt or get stuff in your breech.

Hope this helps
