I've done a load of research but they all seemingly have pros and cons. Im wondering for the money which gun is better, and what model i would be able to buy. Im looking into invert mini, gog extcy, g4, etek, old ego, or one of the matrixs. Id be playing speedball with some woodsball. Im mainly looking for efficiency, maintenance, and performance

edit:also would like a bob long but can't find any in my price range
edit: would like to be able to get a package with hopper mask etc. if applicable

Uhh, where can you buy an invert mini for 200 obo new?

Its going to be hard to get a decent gun in that price range if you also want to get a mask, hopper and tank.

For 250, you could probably get a Bob Long Marq 6 or 7, they are great guns and perform quite well.

If you want to find something a little cheaper and leave you with a little extra money in your pocket to eventually put towards a mask or hopper, then a used Mini, Proto Rail, G4 would all be solid choices. The only Ego you're gunna find in that price range would be a 6, but it would again, be about the same price as the Marq 6 or 7's i was telling you about.

For $250 you can find gen 4 timmys, gen 5 proteges and some marqs. I really like the protege in that range. I also like quests and minis for that price.

Yea I would say ego but the only ego you're going to find in that price range is like an 06. An old bob long gun or proto rail would be nice. Keep in mind though you're going to need an electronic hopper and compressed air tank with that gun, so I hope you have more than $250. Also, you should buy a decent thermal mask before you even think about buying a gun.

thanks for the feedback guys. i do have more than 250 thts just for the gun. Im goin to look into the marqs seem like a solid choice

For $250 if you look around, you can likely find any of the following:
Axe
Mini
06 Ego
DM7(maybe)
DM6
PM8
Protege
Marq's
Shockers
the list goes on, but those area some decents ones off the top of my head

You'll be happy with that. They're not the most efficient guns with the stock engine, but they're buttery smooth. I had to pick up some other guns after I got my Marq so I could continue to gun whore... I can't bring myself to part with the Marq.

The GoG eXTCy is hand's down the best marker in your price range. You will not be disappointed!

There was a guy somewhere in BST that had a sweet tri-fade marq close to your range. If you're considering any BL gun then you're making a good choice.

Couldn't agree with this statment more. I have an eXTCy and am absolutly in love with it. I got mine with some really nice ups for $175. The only problems i have ever had with my marker are user error . If you have big hands it a much better fit than the mini which doesnt fit my hands at all. The board is super simple to program, I learned it in about an hour. The gun is super easy to take apart and clean, you really dont even need the manual to learn how to do it, the bolt is a whopping 2 parts.

To the OP, you can get a lot more bang for your buck with the Marq or Protege over an Extcy.
