no, seriously the LPR's cutaway looks oddly phallic now that you mention it. It's about as close to a technical diagram as I cared to draw, since we're not playing with dimensions or threads, it's just a hole bored into the adjustment screw all the way through, I did it to my timmy LPR's on a bench vise with a power drill, it doesn't even have to be perfectly straight; as long as your new hole overlaps part of the washer's.

I did the LPR purge hole with a 1/16 bit and a drill... I can say that this is a MUCH needed mod. My pressure was dropping pretty bad in PSP, but since the mod the LP drops may 10 psi.Great job on this one juit.

I also did the macroline (tape) mod, but need to get to a chrono to test.

One thing that I did since the stock bolt had some pretty bad wear on the tip is polish the very front. I also added an oring on there as a front bumper. Overall I am VERY pleased with the results.

Wow, the reg vent hole mods are genius and so easy. I'm definitely doing this and testing when I get a new noid for my 06 Quest.

this lpr had to use a bigger diameter oring to seal then it was creeping awful,

the hole fix it

Wait so some pictures have the LPR vent hold on the front of the LPR and others have it on the side. I'm confused, where is the hole supposed to be drilled?

Anywhere that vents the spring section of the LPR, if you prefer a reversible mod, into the adjustment screw; if you don't really mind, then on the side wall of the LPR is also fine (mine's drilled on the side, though I wish I'd done it through the adjustment screw for looks).

The drilling went real easy by drilling from the back
side, since the taper of the set screw surface kind
of automatically centered the bit. I just put a small
piece of plastic into the head of the set screw, put
my allen key in on top of that so I could hold it and
not have the screw spin, and drilled. Super easy!

I don't own a quest.... but I saw just mentioned he did this on his Timmy. So I could drill 1/16 holes in the lpr ajuster screw and reg on my alias and instantly see increased recharge rates? sounds to good to be true lol
