Just got a new Empire Axe and I know I will need a few upgrades to make it better then out of the box. Just had a question about barrels. I see that some say Tippmann, Impulse or Autococker. So would my gun be threaded like an Autococker?

Looking into getting the Deadly Wind Barrel Kit. After a barrel what other gun upgrades should I look into?

Autococker threaded. Deadly winds is a good kit. The axe needs none.

The one upgrade that actually makes a significant difference in the Axe is the Boss Bolt or Lurker bolt. Other than that, the Axe doesn't need any upgrades.

An underbore barrel (Deadlywinds or otherwise), and a Lurker or Boss bolt are the only upgrades you really should consider to get the best performance out of your Axe. Anything else is merely "nice to have", but there are some things you can get if you really want to trick your gun out to the next level. Mine is fully upped, see sig for details.

Great choice with the deadlywinds barrel. It was the best investment I ever made in paintball. And like everyone has said the Axe could use a new bolt but doesn't need much else
