The field is amazingly dry, no replay of last years bog in the woods. It is still an excellent idea to pack boots if you got them, you never know what may happen.
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the field and putting a giant exclamation point at the end of 2012. We are really excited about this game.

If you're not soaking wet, covered on mud, welts, and scratches, with blisters on your hands and feet, then you're not doing it right.
The Viper Six guys are looking forward to pitching our tents in the pouring rain and the dark tonight, followed by the giving of a stern *** kicking tomorrow. See you guys there.

I just want to say what a fantastic scenario B.O.B. at OXCC. The turnout was great! The staff as always was on the ball and everywhere and provided answers when needed "regarding field structures and boundaries" . This was the best game to end the season with for the Mouthy Mimes.
Thank you to all of the Allied Command staff for organizing and executing such a decisive assault on the enemy. In my personal opinion... flawless. The day could not have gone better.

Thanks to all the players, , teams, command staffs, refs, and OXCC Staff (especially Rick & Nancy), plus all of the vendors and sponsors that attended the game yesterday.
It has been a while since I last put on my Ref / Role Player hat & I hope that the "Arms Dealer" was able to interject some interesting aspects into the game-play.
Again, thanks to all & I'm looking forward to another great season at OXCC in 2013!

Totally needed...
What an amazing game that was after my God knows how long withdrawal of shooting people and seeing everyone. The field was excellent, the bunkers and pathways were great and I loved the different distinct parts of the field that provided their own unique challenges and approaches to attacking and defending.
I only got to see about 2/3 of the field well (although I did see a good portion of it via plane ride hehe), but from what I saw and was fighting in I was very impressed. Thank you first and foremost OXCC for putting on a quality game at a field that I will be sure to visit a hell of a lot more often.
There is only one thing I can mention that needs to be worked on if anything, and that would be the mission writing. Now don't get me wrong, the way the missions were written up is the exact same way I've don the missions for ION the past few years (as the French).
I like how the story line is worked into each mission and the commanders are forced to read, re-read, and then work out how to accomplish said goal. The only issue is that sometimes how a mission was completed was not clear, that does not mean there should be one single way to accomplish an objective (live in the grey) but an example would be as folows:
One of the missions we had to capture the enemies ammo supply and via tank drive it to ours across the field, we did as instructed, let the ref place the boxes next to eachother and then thought we had accomplished the goal. When we asked the ref is we complied with the mission objectives he responded in a way that put doubt in our minds.
Here is the issue (now that I know how the mission went about) We had to bring the ammo and hold it til a certain time; which is understandable and correct. However the ref didn't let us know that (which in a way he is right for not telling us) But at the same time since we did not get a positive answer we were so worried that we had missed something it caused a TON of stress for us which we then put back on the ref staff that was already overloaded with work. Causing more issues... all because he didn't say something like... "Yes you did everything you need to do... Except hold it till bla bla time."
The mission card said it was a "re-supply" mission... If I get the supply to its proper location, and I hold it, then it should count as long as its within the time frame... But at least tell me that lol
There's a fine line between a ref being neutral and a ref being unhelpful to the situation. I know he meant well (and all the refs were kick *** by the way) but it would be better for everyone if this could be worked out.
Beyond that, I can honestly say you guys have been one of the best ref groups during a scenario I have ever played with. GREAT JOB! I'll see you all soon!
Germans: Seriously, that score means nothing in the way that you guys fought, the number of times you sliced through our lines and into our flanks just shows how determined you all were. Serious serious props to all of you. Big Bo, great job commanding man, I was hoping to see you in your little base there but it was not to be, next time ill bring a bomb with me on my plane ride lol!
Americans: Amazing job guys, just hard fought. It was a dang good time watching so many teams work together and listen to what needed to be done. I an't wait to work with all of you again or even shoot at you guys someday. Because I know i'll be playing against quality players!
Jersey Team in Red jerseys: Whomever you were (I forget the name off hand) You guys were amazing all day, and I MEAN ALL DAY. I was super impressed by your resolve and just how had you guys fought. You did whatever was asked of you. Serious props!
Alpha/Barney: Congrats on your victory! Glad I was able to help out with everything, looking forward to the next time! BTW Alpha, PM incoming.
More later guys I have work to do.
